Winding Waters: The Goulais River to Superior Paddle Journey through the heart of the Goulais River on this scenic paddle, where winding waterways lead from quiet wetlands to the open expanse of Lake Superior. Your adventure begins at the Francis Hilb Preserve, part of the Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy, where calm waters and rich ecosystems create the perfect setting for a leisurely canoe trip.
